First and foremost, we thank our Savior Jesus Christ for the opportunity to serve Him in this way. He Restores exists to live out Colossians 4:2-6 - devoting ourselves to prayer, sharing the hope of Christ, and responding with grace and wisdom to those impacted by disaster.
We’re David and Nellie from Rome, Georgia. With backgrounds in roofing, teaching, and ministry, we felt called to step out in faith and launch this disaster relief mission. We’re grateful for the support and example of Cedarcrest Church, the D.I.R.T. Team, Warren Causey, and Jim Boyd—each of whom has helped shape our journey.

When disaster strikes, most people are unprepared for the devastation that follows. In the aftermath, storm-chasing companies often swoop in, preying on desperation and emotion. These companies frequently make empty promises, overcharge, and disappear before the work is complete—leaving victims even more burdened.
That’s where our ministry is different. We step in to serve the most vulnerable—those without insurance or financial means—by offering expert help in cleaning up and restoring their properties. And we do it all at no cost, showing the love of Christ through action when it’s needed most.
