Called to the Storm: How One Mission Trip Sparked a Life of Disaster Relief Ministry
In April 2019, Nellie and I joined a church-wide mission trip to Panama City Beach, Florida—our first hands-on experience with disaster relief following Hurricane Michael. At the time, we had no idea how deeply that trip would shape our future.
What started as a single act of service grew into a calling. Now, six years later and approaching retirement, God has clearly placed it on our hearts to launch a full-time disaster relief ministry. It has been a humbling journey, and we are grateful for every opportunity to serve.
