About Us
David is a semi-retired commercial Roofer. He started roofing full-time in 1978. Nellie was in banking then stay at home mom for 20 years and is now edging toward retirement as well working as a substitute teacher.
We live in Rome Georgia.
There are several organizations that we’ve partnered with prior to us thinking about and starting our own disaster relief ministry.

We want to thank our church (Cedarcrest Church, Acworth, Georgia) and its leadership for setting the example for us by always running towards disasters physically and financially - sending supplies and teams to remove trees. The church has a team of men that have been trained. They are called the D.I.R.T. Team (disaster, impact, response, team) which David has been a part of for some time.
Also, special thanks to Warren Causey of a Sirens Project in Woodstock, Georgia Warren has a passion for helping survivors of storms. He also has a passion for training and sharing his knowledge with others. He has a three day “ground operator “course which we (the D.I.R.T.) have attended.

Statement Of Faith
“He Restores” believes in the holy Trinity.
Our physical goal at “He Restores”, is to help people after natural disasters, such as hurricanes or tornadoes.
Each person that we help will be prayed for, and if God opens the door, they will hear the gospel message.
Everything we do is to Glorify God.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).
We believe that the holy Bible was written by men and inspired by God as a revelation of himself (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Pet. 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12)
We believe the Bible to be 100% truth. (2Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26).
We believe that salvation is gift from God through faith in his son Jesus Christ. We believe that the only way to the father is through Jesus (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22, John 14:6).
